Eleonora Duse is one of my biggest inspirations. She has so many beautiful prayers and experiences that have inspired me over the years as an actress. I learned about this book when I was going to acting school in Los Angeles at Black Nexxus with Susan Batson. She advised me to read this book because she felt like I could relate to Eleonora.

Eleonora was a very spiritual actress who looked to heavenly places for her strength. She was also a famous actress in Italy around the turn of the 20th century. She’s known as the “mother of modern realism” for acting. That’s not the best depiction of her but if you want to learn more about her, watch the video I made posted above!
